Axecadia’s owners, husband and wife team Chris and Christina Herr, both grew up in Lapeer. They met and started dating in 2003 while they were students at Lapeer East High School. 20 years later, after moving out of state while Chris served as an active duty Marine, having three children, moving back to Lapeer, and growing the idea from a seed, they decided to create a place where people can have fun and make positive memories. After months of searching for the perfect spot downtown, and doing a massive demo and renovation on 55 W. Nepessing St., Axecadia was born and opened to the public in April 2023. No flashy investors, no corporate overhead, just two Lapeer high school sweethearts who grew up and wanted to add something awesome to their hometown.

We want to be a place for people of all ages to come together and share positive experiences, whether you come in for a group axe throwing session, to play some pinball or classic arcade games, or host a party in one of our private rooms.
