A: Aside from an awesome time, great stress relief, and a unique entertainment experience? Allow us to tell you! After checking in with our host and ensuring you have signed your waiver, you will first hear some safety tips, general rules and throwing instruction from your Axe Coach and try a few practice swings. Your Axe Coach will also introduce you to a few types of games and how they are scored, and then you choose how you want to spend your time. A whole hour of taking turns in your group and thowing for fun? Have at it! Several rounds of “Best of 5 Throws?” That’s fine too! Any one of the other options your Axe Coach teaches you? It’s up to you. Be safe, have fun, and connect— with each other and with the targets!

A: Something, please. We’re a family-friendly public place after all. In seriousness though, you MUST wear close-toed shoes. No sandals or flip-flops or anything else open-toed, for safety reasons. Other than that, just be sure you’re wearing something that you feel comfortable in and that won’t prevent you for having a full range of motion when you swing. Flannels optional.

A: At Axecadia, there is a price point for every budget. Our arcade tokens are 25 cents a piece (most games take between 2-4 tokens).
Axe throwing is $26.50 per person (includes all taxes and fees) for an hour-long session.
Give us a call or send us an email for information regarding private party pricing.
-
A: There is no minimum. Each lane holds a maximum of 6 people per session. We do ask that any groups over 10 people please send us an email at axecadia@gmail.com or call us at (810) 208-2357 to reserve your spot so we can accommodate your group during your desired time.

A: Not yet, but we are doing our best to obtain a liquor license and will update our page and socials as soon as we have more information. In the meantime, please enjoy our selection of non-alcoholic sodas, mocktails, and snacks, and visit any of Historic Downtown Lapeer’s fine licensed establishments after your axe session.

A: To come play in the arcade or enjoy a soda in our lounge area, you will not need a reservation. We do highly recommend making a reservation for axe throwing though, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. We have a limited number of walk-in slots, so if at all possible, try to book ahead of time!
-
A: Nope! Our machines take our custom arcade tokens, so just visit the check-in bar upstairs or use the automatic token dispenser in the arcade to get your tokens.

A: ABSOLUTELY! Or should we say, axe-olutely? We are still working on all of our axe-related puns…not all of them stick. ;-) Anyways, YES, we love to help people party. We have two private rooms, one on our upper level, best for axe throwers, and one on the bottom level which is where our arcade is located. Both need to be reserved in advance. Please send us an email at axecadia@gmail.com or call us at (810) 208-2357 to begin the party booking process.

A: Fun fact, Axecadia is proudly co-owned by Christina Herr, a longtime elementary educator. We happily support field trips and have a variety of math and STEM-related topics we can incorporate to make your field trip not only fun but educationally rich. Please email axecadia@gmail.com if you are interested in booking a field trip for your class or group.
